Technica Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the deployment, integration, and operational readiness of a Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf (COTS) software product. This role will play a key part in evaluating the solution in a test environment, coordinating integration activities across multiple technical teams, and ensuring a smooth transition into production. This position is based on receiving customer funding.
The ideal candidate brings a broad technical foundation, strong communication skills, and a hands‑on approach to problem solving. This engineer will work closely with networking, server, security, and application teams to ensure the system is implemented securely, efficiently, and in alignment with mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The position would be located at a government facility in Washington, D.C. and require work to be performed onsite. Any hybrid work schedule would require customer approval. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.
