Responsibilities

Technica has an exciting opportunity to join our team in providing Information Technology Services to the FBI’s Information Management Division (IMD). This program is responsible for managing the development and maintenance of the Information Technology (IT) Systems supporting the Enterprise Vetting Center (EVC) within IMD.  We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization through concept development, and user story writing to support development and deployment.  

  • Facilitate the gathering of business focused requirements to support a product team and product owner in defining the backlog and ensuring the users perspective is considered.  
  • Focus requirements gathering on improved usability, user experience, and driving user adoption and engagement.  
  • Identify core business needs and decompose and document in concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, and user stories; document business rules and construct workflow diagrams as needed.
  • Provide consultation on complex projects while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
  • Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

This position is located at the FBI facility in Winchester, VA. For select positions, the FBI may locate the position in Washington, D.C., however that will be determined by the customer. The government has established policies for on-site vs remote work which varies across divisions and contracts. Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other FBI policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, hybrid work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance w/SCI and CI Poly or ability to obtain CI Poly. 
  • Bachelors’ Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 8 years related work experience.
  • Proven experience in comprehending, analyzing, and interpreting documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
  • Posses intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Minimum 2 years experience operating Azure Devope Server (ADS) and Jira.
