Responsibilities

The Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) practices, including National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST), Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), Common Criteria, Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) and SANS Institute. This position is based on contract award and funding. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development environments
  • Demonstrated level of experience in information security practices within the federal and/or state governments
  • Previous hands-on technical experience demonstrated in networking, system administration, and development
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipelines Virtualization, software-defined infrastructure and working knowledge of cloud computing technologies.

 

The position is located at a government facility in Clarksburg, WV and typically requires work to be performed onsite, but may allow for hybrid work schedule. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other government policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT with relevant work experience
  • Five years of relative experience as ISSO
  • CISSP Certification recommended

Desired

  • Cloud Certification preferred.
  • Six years of relative experience as ISSO

Certifications

  • CISSP Certification recommended
  • Cloud Certification preferred
