Technica Corporation is seeking a Scrum Master to support our FBI Customer. This position leads the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value. Liaises with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in the release, and the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget.

  • Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline.
  • Serves as the Agile or Scrum delivery team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
  • Serve as liaisons between the product owner, development team, and management in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
  • Ensure that team members understand project objectives. Maintain product backlog and release plan, and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals.
  • Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.
  • Is the facilitator for an agile development team.
  • Scrum is a methodology that allows a team to self-organize and make changes quickly, in accordance with agile principles.
  • The scrum master manages the process for how information is exchanged via the DI2E framework utilizing Jira & Confluence.

 

The position may be located at a government facility in Winchester, VA. The government has established policies for on-site vs remote work which varies across divisions and contracts. Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other FBI policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relavent experience.

  • Scaled Agile Framework Certification, Intermediate or Higher (Scrum Master, Practitioner)

  • DoD 8140.01 compliant IAT II

  • Familiarity with SDLC

Desired

  • Familiar with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) / Agile
  • Experienced / Familiar with DI2E (Confluence / Jira
