Technica Corporation is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, self-directed individual to fill the role of Systems Business Analyst for our FBI customer. The business analyst is the driver of the customer’s continued growth and success. With commitment to innovation, this analyst role will seek, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity. From researching progressive systems solutions to evaluating their impacts, the ideal candidate will be a detailed planner, expert communicator, and top-notch analyst. This person should also be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data.
  • Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.
  • Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels.
  • Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: Field agents, IT, finance, CFC) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.
  • Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
  • Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.

 

The position may be located at a government facility in Winchester, VA. The government has established policies for on-site vs remote work which varies across divisions and contracts. Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other FBI policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems and/or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5 years of experience in analytics, financial analysis and systems development
  • Proficiency with SQL and database management
  • Proven analytical abilities.
  • Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
  • Prior experience translating data into actionable insights.

Desired

  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Excel and Power Point
  • Proven ability to manage projects and user testing.
  • Strong communication skills
