A Senior Software Engineer lead will be well versed in multiple software languages as a mid-level coder, has worked with different databases and platforms, and has led software teams. This position will be working within an engineering lab that enables the staff to dynamically build out capabilities and solutions for government customers including proof of concept (POC) demonstration, penetration testing, feasibility determination, cross-platform integration and solution validation.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Develop new technical solutions to meet our government customers’ AI and cybersecurity needs.
• Coach and mentor junior software developers
• Develop and execute the software engineering strategy
• Analyze and find solutions to complex technical problems
• Verify project compliance with software engineering best practices and project requirement
• Stay abreast of the market in identifying and evaluating new technologies for recommended implementation

This position is a full-time onsite role in our Technica Corporate location in Dulles, VA.

• Bachelor’s in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related engineering/science discipline
• 10 years of related experience with at least 3 years leading or managing teams
• Demonstrated skillset as a mid-level programmer
