Responsibilities

A Senior Systems Analyst will support requirements gathering, customer interaction, user story creation, and project coordination. The systems analyst will work closely with the development team, stakeholders, and customers to bring projects to completion in a timely and efficient manner.

 

Typical responsibilities may include:

  • Gather and document requirements for the system ensuring all requirements are clear, concise, and comprehensive
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to all parties in collaboration with government leads
  • Write clear and detailed user stories that accurately reflect the requirements of the customers and stakeholders, and that are well-organized and easily understood by the development team
  • Assist in monitoring progress and report on project status to stakeholders and customers.
  • Evaluate and improve processes to ensure that the system is efficient and effective
  • Perform in a Scrum Master capacity
  • Assist with functional and product testing
  • Assist in handling application service tickets

The position may be located at a government facility in Washington, D.C., or in Huntsville, AL and typically requires work to be performed onsite. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other FBI policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

 

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $115,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Technica considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, location, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance, with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or relevant field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years of experience as a business analyst in software development environment
  • Proven analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Experience with Atlassian tools to include Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum and Kanban frameworks
