Responsibilities

 

Technica is looking for a Full Stack Developer, Senior to join an innovative team of developers in Patriots Plaza II, Washington, D.C.

The Senior Full Stack Developer support is required to provide development of a Java application with a PostgreSQL backend and Tomcat application server. 

 

Position is a hybrid opportunity in Patriots Plaza II, Washington, D.C.  The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts.  Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other FBI policies and react accordingly as policies change over time.  Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

Requirements

The Full Stack Developer candidate must have the following skills and experience:

 

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Also, they must possess a strong foundation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or technical discipline with 8 years of experience.
  • The successful candidate will be developing in AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology.
  • The developer will work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application.
  • Support will include, but is not limited to, the gathering, analysis, and development of specifications/requirements provided by the system owner.
  • The developer may be tasked with supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of life cycle development.
  • The contractor will need to possess strong user interface skills using Angular 2+ application development. Also, they must possess a strong foundation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
  • Java (JEE Development)
  • Strong JavaScript/Ajax Application Development
  • Angular version 2 or above (5 years or more experience)
  • Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA and Spring Security
  • Tomcat
  • PostgreSQL
  • Experience in Test Driven Development
  • JUNIT experience
  • AWS experience

Desired

  • Atlassian tools: Gitlab/Jira
  • Microservices architecture 12/21/23:  Updated list of skills w/ more emphasis on cloud development
