Responsibilities

Technica is seeking a Network Circuit Analyst.  The Enterprise Network Circuit Solutions Team (ENCS), Network Support Unit (NSU), is the team responsible for the ordering, billing, and performance management of data circuit transport for over 1100 locations worldwide including: Field Offices, Data Centers, HQ sites in the Washington DC Region, Resident Agencies, and LEGAT (and other overseas) locations. The team provides services including implementing data circuits at new locations, migrating network for location moves, discontinuing service no longer in use, and monitoring and managing the business aspects of the BlackNet data transport network. 

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of circuit types such as DS1/DS3/OC3/Ethernet/ Internet/NXt1/ other MPLS.
  • Capability to use the Vendor Portal to submit and manage orders.
    • Bandwidths/GOLD CAR/ how to adjust in vendor portal
    • Have knowledge of types, port access and speeds, user relatability to number being serviced
    • Order services (data circuits & related services)
  • Manage Orders and large Project Orders.
    • Coordinate with customers, field offices, TMs. ETs Network Counterparts such as Deployment team, network administrators our points of Contacts, and Vendor team.
    • Installation; relocations; disconnections; Special order; special construction; Modifications; RFCs; ECs; Service Ticket Management; Circuit request Forms.
    • Attend Weekly meetings and give updates.
  • Maintain Enterprise Circuit Request Form List.
  • Network Transport Project- Home Page (choices)
  • Maintain Update Databases such as ACES
  • Billing (tracking invoice dates for close of billing in Aces).
  • Maintaining ARTS file
  • Maintain Circuit Team Azure Dev Boards (ADB) Site
  • Order Process:
    • Following steps on a check list to prep and execute the order whether Its install, disconnect or move
    • Manage Funding with the customer
    • Transfer of funding (verification, contacts
    • Obtain pricing for service
    • Calculating total expenditure for service to include QOS, MRC, NRC
    • Obtain price quote and approval for site requirements and special construction
  • Coordinate with internal team for Legats/DCSnet (consolidations)
  • Participate in Agile Scrum Releases
  • Capability to initiate and coordinate Telecommunications Service Priority (TSP) orders
  • Order Process, request criteria; correct Contact people (DOJ rule for Approval etc.) for request:
    • Know or learn correct verbiage for Activations, disconnections, installations to include following check list for tasks or step to accomplish task
    • Access service manager to verify circuits can be ordered
    • Scheduling services: request due dates, coordinate scheduling services (activations, due dates for services, expedites, changes).
    • Assist and guide and work with customers
    • Conflict resolution, reassuring, pushing Vendor for immediate and quality
