Technica Corporation Strongly believes in Continuous Recruiting and is seeking experienced System Administrators, Network Engineers, Network Administrators, and System Engineers to support CAOC-X at Langley Air Force base in Hampton, Virginia. CAOC-X provides the Combined/Joint Forces Air Component Commander (C/JFACC), Airspace Control Authority (ACA), and Area Air Defense Commander (AADC) with the capabilities to test, develop, and execute the strategy, plans, and Command and Control (C2) processes in a closed environment prior to theater-wide deployment.
At a minimum Ideal candidates work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. They develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope following detailed instructions. They work well in groups or alone. Ideal candidates understand Air Force best practices and have supported secure DoD computing environments. They have the ability to install, and support a wide range of computing systems, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), Servers, Virtualized systems, desktops, network segments, intranets, private networks, and other data communication systems. Participation in discussions and collaboration across government, contractor, and military services is required.
