Responsibilities

 

Technica Corporation is seeking to fill a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support our DANS team in San Antonio, TX.  The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will enable agile software development by providing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) support to enable multiple software development teams. Specific duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

 

  • Build and/or maintain DevSecOps processes and CI/CD Pipelines and support them using Linux, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Python, Gitlab, Docker, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira, SonarQube, ACAS, and OSCAP
  • Research, test, recommend, and implement new tools and capabilities to continuously improve the DevSecOps processes and CI/CD Pipelines
  • Incorporate automated developer and QA testing, code quality checking, and security and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines to validate software quality and security
  • Support, maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automations that automatically create virtual and physical operationally relevant development and test environments
  • Leverage CI/CD pipelines to engineer and implement software solutions by developing new code and integrating Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), Commercial of the Shelf Software (COTS), and Government of the Shelf Software (GOTS)
  • Lead multidisciplinary research and collaboration with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of software for host based and network sensors and data analysis platforms
  • Collaborates with system operators, system maintainers, engineers, application developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to mature requirements
  • Contribute to maturing the DevSecOps culture by utilizing industry best practices
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team that follows Scrum Agile practices
  • Mentor junior developers and engineers

Requirements

  • Secret Clearance w/ Ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Masters and 3-5 years’ of relevant experience or Bachelors’ and  5-8 years’ of relevant experience,
  • Experience in Software Engineering 
  • Experience in test automation platforms for unit, integration, and formal testing
  • Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes and implementations
  • Experience in building software within Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and with using Ansible
  • Experience using GIT
  • Experience with front end languages such as JavaScript, Angular 2-10, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS
  • Experience with containers and micro-services using Kubernetes, Helm, Docker or similar technologies 
  • Experience with Python 2/3, Bash, and Powershell
  • Working Knowledge of Elasticsearch and the ELK stack
  • Working knowledge of Confluence, Jira, and GitLab or similar capabilities
  • Working Knowledge Networking (TCP/IP)
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Desired

 

  • Familiarization with Air Force Defensive Cyberspace systems and programs
  • Familiarization with Bitbucket, SonarQube, ACAS, OSCAP, Nexus, Bro/Zeek, Suricata, and Moloch/Arkime

Certifications

 

  • 8570/8140 compliant: IAT II
